Überblick

Die Forschungsgruppe Komponenten von Elektrofahrzeugen beschäftigt sich mit der Reichweitensteigerung, Kostenreduzierung sowie Verkürzung der Entwicklungszeit entlang des Lebenszyklus eines Elektrofahrzeugs. Damit decken wir momentan aktuelle Themen in Forschung und Industrie ab. Wir betrachten hierbei alle Komponenten eines elektrischen Antriebsstrangs. Beginnend bei der Batteriezelle über den Batteriepack, die Leistungselektronik bis hin zur elektrischen Maschine. Jede dieser Komponenten wird im Einzelnen sowie im Verbund betrachtet. Wir befassen uns mit klassischen Konzepten und testen neue Ansätze (z. B. dynamische Verschaltung von Batteriepacks). Unsere Stärken liegen hierbei speziell in der Modellierung und Simulation. Durch unsere Vielfalt an Prüfständen und Demonstratoren sind wir in der Lage unsere Modelle mit realen Komponenten und Fahrzeugen zu parametrieren und validieren. Angefangen bei hochgenauen Zelltestern über Modultester bis hin zu einem leistungsstarken Batteriesimulator an unserem Rollenprüfstand. Des Weiteren können wir diverse HiL-Umgebungen sowie Klimakammern nutzen. Mittlerweile existieren am Lehrstuhl eine Vielzahl an Simulationsmodellen, die bei Bedarf zu einer großen Gesamtfahrzeugsimulation zusammengefasst werden können. Diese helfen uns bei der Beantwortung von relevanten Forschungsthemen.
